The Échevins are eminent members of the Confrérie, carefully chosen by the Grand-Conseil. Their main mission is to represent the organization with dignity in the provinces.
At official ceremonies, the Aldermen play an active role, always accompanied by a member of the Grand Council. They have the honor of wearing the ceremonial regalia of the Confrérie du Sabre d’Or, symbols of their high distinction.
