The Brotherhood
Since its creation in 1986, the Confrérie du Sabre d’Or has raised the art of saber-smithing to an international level, acquiring a reputation that transcends continents. With over 2,700 members and 24 embassies on 5 continents, the brotherhood also counts a number of famous personalities among its followers.

Champagne and Sabrage
Historically rooted in Napoleonic tradition, sabering became popular during the victorious military campaigns waged against the Austro-Hungarian Empire. At the time, the lighter saber was the weapon of choice for Napoleon’s infantry.
